Founder's Bio

Thank you for taking the time to visit CrochetCo, and for your interest in my hat designs.  My name is Chelsea Wales (formerly Norquay), and I have been crocheting clothing and accessories since I was 4.  Currently I am 23 and living in Janesville, WI with my husband and two children (unless we are counting cats, then it's four children).  I started crocheting handmade hats a couple years back and the excitement around them has continued to grow as we visited Craft Shows, Seasonal Festivals, and growing our Etsy Shop to record levels.

With demand growing, my mom helped greatly in both the production of hats and craft show management.  She continues to be a major contributor to the business in more ways than just hat production.
